Our aim is to breed the best Drum Horses and Shire Horses. We want to produce horses with excellent conformation and movement, and fantastic temperaments that will excel in harness and under saddle.
We started breeding Drum Horses in 2008, when our Clydesdale fillies were bred with the Gypsy Cob stallion “The Minstrel”, producing 3 outstanding Drum Horse foals in 2009.
At the beginning of 2010, we added a pure bred Shire mare to our breeding program. She is in foal to the Shire stallion “Acle Duke” owned by Southern Cross Shires.
We will continue to source excellent quality Shires, Clydesdales and Gypsy Cobs to further enhance our breeding program as we strive to produce some of the finest quality Shire and Drum Horses in Australia.
Our foals are imprinted at birth and are well handled from the first day.Their feet are regularly trimmed, and they are fed minerals and supplements to ensure the best start in life. All foals are sold registered with the relevant society.
One of our favourite things to do is walk out into the mare paddock and call the girls.It is truly a breathtaking sight to have these Clydesdales, Shires and Drum Horses come thundering towards you, with the whites of their faces and legs shining in the sun.
